Ferdows County

Ferdows County ( _fa. شهرستان فردوس) is a county in the northwest of South Khorasan Province in Iran. Ferdows County consists of two parts: Central Part (containing Ferdows city) and Boshrooyeh. The population of this county is about 65,000. After dividing the khorasan province into 3 provinces, Ferdows County was a part of Razavi Khorasan province, but it moved to South Khorasan Province in March 2007. Ferdows is famous for its excellent Saffron and pomegranate.
