Postseason pressure

Postseason pressure

Postseason pressure is a psychological effect on many athletes in which they are very nervous, hyped up or getting anxiety attacks when entering the postseason. This is more common among younger, less experienced players who have never seen playoffs. Older, more experienced players who have been in postseason games before are not as susceptible to this.

Yoga and other calming relaxing exercises are good in helping reduce postseason pressure, also having experienced a postseason game will greatly reduce postseason pressure.
