Amadaguntla

Amadaguntla is a village in Kodumur mandal in Kurnool District in Andhra Pradesh. It is roughly 25 kilometers by road from Kurnool city. Gorantla, a nearby village is famous for Madhava temple. Another nearby village, Laddagiri is the birthplace of former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, the late Kotla VijayaBhaskara Reddy. The name is derived from amada (twin) guntalu (ponds). The village has a population of around 3000 and has buses frequently connected to Kurnool.
