Career
Nadine has had roles in Family Affairs and Dream Team. She appeared in Casualty as Sasha Ryman in series 20, episode 22, entitled "It's a Man Thing", and appeared in BBC medical drama Holby City, as Senior House Officer Maddy Young. She has been in this role since 16 January 2007. On 12 May 2009 it was announced that she would be leaving the show on 26 May, in the same episode as her former co-star Peter Wingfield returned for just the one episode as consultant Dan Clifford. In her last episode, Maddy was stabbed in the back by patient Chantelle in the toilets which were currently "Out of Order". She was found by nurse Maria Kendall (played by Phoebe Thomas) and viewers were tricked into thinking she had survived the attack in the following episode, which featured what would have happened if Maddy had lived, seeing the return of Dan Clifford and him offering Maddy a research post at the hospital he was currently working at. Maddy declined his offer in favour of getting a promotion at Holby City, which she had been denied previously through her partying lifestyle and poor performance, but the entire episode wasn't real at all as Maddy had actually died in the attack. The episode after that featured a memorial service at Holby City for Maddy, and the character only appeared in photographs at the start and end of the episode.
After concluding her work on Holby, Nadine was invited to guest star in Aquitaine Television's short feature End Knife Crime - a short video highlighting to young people the effects of knife crime. Lewington made a cameo appearance in the scene recorded just before Christmas 2008 at the Middlesex Hospital in London.
