It comprises all of his studio albums, compilation albums, and chart singles to date, as well as their positions on the major North American musical charts.Signed to Mercury Nashville in 1992, Cyrus made his debut that year with the album "Some Gave All". The album produced the hit single "Achy Breaky Heart" which reached #1 on the Billboard
Hot Country Songs chart and #4 on theBillboard Hot 100 . In addition, the album and follow up albums "It Won't Be the Last" and "Storm in the Heartland" produced seven top 40 hits on the country charts. However, "Trail of Tears" failed to produce any top 40 hits.A greatest hits album was issued in 1997 and Cyrus' fifth studio album "Shot Full of Love" was issued in 1998. The two albums only produced two top 40 hits, "It's All the Same to Me" and "Busy Man". Cyrus left Mercury in 1999 and signed with
Monument Records in 2000, which released "Southern Rain". 2003's "Time Flies" was issued on Madacy Records and followed, that same year, by "The Other Side" on Word Records. Cyrus' first studio in three years, "Wanna Be Your Joe", was issued in 2006 on New Door Records.In 2006, Cyrus signed with
