Areto

Areto

In Greek mythology, Areto was an Amazon who went along with Pantariste, Iphito and others to avenge the murder of Hippolyte. The Amazons were successful in this battle. They managed to kill the captains and soldiers of Herakles. Her name meant "Unspeakable."
