Daitai Transport Unit

The Daitai Unit was an Imperial Japanese Navy Air transport section of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service.

Mission

The Daitai Unit was responsible for transporting personnel, weapons and equipment to Japanese occupied territories or to a combat front in times of war. Such units supported Navy Special Naval Landing Force airborne units during their missions.
