The main college building is situated close to the town centre and beach and forms, along with the Hans Price Gallery, the Knightstone Campus. This was formerly Weston-super-Mare Technical College. Opened in 1970, it is the tallest building in the town with nine operational floors. The lower floors were enlarged about thirty years later to give more classroom space.
The former Broadoak Sixth Form Centre in Loxton Road at the south end of the town was demolished in 2006. The new University Campus opened on the same site in September 2007 to provide
sixth form facilities and also be the centre for degree courses. The sixth form is housed in the "Jill Dando Centre", named after former Broadoak Sixth Form pupil,Jill Dando .
