"Rock wit U (Awww Baby)" is a single released by R&B/pop singer Ashanti in 2003 from her second studio album, "Chapter II". The single went straight to the number two position on the U.S. "Billboard" Hot 100 and became her first international hit from her second album that sold over 3 million copies worldwide, reaching number seven in the UK and number nineteen in Australia.
*One of the remixes for this song samples Michael Jackson's hit, "Rock With You." Ashanti performed this version at the 2003 BET Awards.

Music video

The song's music video (directed by Paul Hunter), was released in May 2003, shows Ashanti on the beach by herself, then seconds later her lover spends time with her. They spend the whole day together, from the beach to a private hut and then a jeep ride. There is one moment when Ashanti is riding an elephant.

Remixes

An unofficial bastard pop remix, "Rock With Addiction", which pasted the vocals from the song over "Just Because" by Jane's Addiction, was released in 2005 by Go Home Productions.
