The thai one baht coin, commonly called "rian baht" ("rian" meaning coin in thai), is a Thai coin. Like all coins in Thailand, its obverse features H.M. King Bhumipol Adulyadej the Great. Its reverse features Phra Kaew Temple, the royal temple in the Grand Palace.

Design

In 1996, the obverse and reverse were changed to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the accession to the throne by King Bhumipol Adulyadej.
