*3 March 1998 - Damian Trainor (26), Catholic and Philip Allen (34), Protestant, both civilians, were shot dead during a Loyalist Volunteer Force gun attack on the Railway Bar, Poyntzpass (According to news sources, Trainor had just asked Allen to be Best Man at his wedding).
