village in thecounty ofSurrey ,England .It sits between
Camberley andWoking . The A322 runs north south through the middle of the village. Neighbouring villages include Donkey Town,Bisley ,Lightwater ,Knaphill and Chobham. Located in the borough ofSurrey Heath , it neighbours the heath, Westend Common, which includes the training ranges of theBritish army . The River Bourne runs through the village from its source in Westend Common to the west of the village.West End obtained its name because it was once the west end of Chobham. Although many new houses have been built around the village it was, until recently, a noted centre of nursery gardening. Westend Common is home to many rare heathland plants and has been designated a
Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) byEnglish Nature . The village has two schools: the Holy Trinity Church of England Junior school and
