Joselio Hanson (born August 13, 1981) is an American football cornerback who currently plays for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Hanson's parents were John, a musician, and Yolanda, an opera singer.

High School Years

Hanson attended Saint Bernard High School in California and was a letterman in football. In football, he led his team to the State Finals as a senior.

Hanson played college football for the Texas Tech Red Raiders after transferring from El Camino Junior College. At Texas Tech, he majored in human development and family studies.

Pro career

Hanson was signed by the San Francisco 49ers to their practice squad, in 2003. In 2004, he was transferred to their team roster. In the 2004 season, he played in eleven games for San Francisco, starting three of them. He played solid football, with eighteen tackles, two assists, six pass deflections and a sack. Regardless, the 49ers cut him and he went to NFL Europa. In 2006, he made a comeback to the NFL, being signed by the Eagles. That season, he played in all sixteen games for Philadelphia, starting one, garnering sixteen tackles, nine assists, and thirteen pass deflections. The Eagles renewed him to their team for the 2007 season, where so far he has played in eleven games, starting three, and gotten 35 tackles and six assists. Also, he has deflected two passes and got one sack. After the Asante Samuel signing, his number was changed from 22 to 21.
