watershed =The Luckiamute River is a tributary of the
Willamette River , approximately 30 mi (48 km) long, in westernOregon in theUnited States . It drains an area ofCentral Oregon Coast Range and the westernWillamette Valley northwest of Corvallis.It rises the remote mountains of southwestern Polk County, approximately 10 mi (16 km) west of Pedee. It flows southeast to Hoskins, then northeast past Pedee, then east across southern Polk County. It is joined from northwest by the
Little Luckiamute River . It joins the Willamette from the west approximately 10 mi (16 km) north of Albany. The mouth of the river is located approximately 1/4 mile (380 m) downstream from the mouth of theSantiam River , which enters the Willamette from the east.Major tributary creeks include Boughey Creek, Waymire Creek, Vincent Creek, Plunkett Creek, Woods Creek, Maxfield Creek, and Soap Creek. The Luckiamute Watershed Council also includes Ash Creek in its
watershed study area, although it drains directly into the Willamette River.ee also
