Eric Bamuza Sono (born 21st March 1980 in Johannesburg) is a South African footbal player currently playing as a midfielder for Jomo Cosmos. His father is Jomo Sono and his younger brother is Matsilele Sono.

Career

Club career

Sono and Bidvest Wits defender Phil Evans were both found guilty by the PSL DC for bringing the league into disrepute and each fined R50,000 after a brawl broke out on the pitch.In January 2008 Bamuza Sono signed for Maccabi Netanya in Israel, and set to join his new team for the upcomming 2008-09 Season.

International career

Sono has been a member of the South African national side since 2007.
