Oldham ,Lancashire . Fogerty's boxing career saw him facing a number of relatively underskilled opponents. He twice facedPaul Lister , with their first meeting in 1989 handing Fogerty his first and only loss in a 6-round decision. He repaid the favor with an 8th round knockout the next year. After ending his boxing career, Fogerty joined the Halifax Blue Sox. He also played for theWarrington Wolves and St Helens. Additionally, Fogerty is the youngest player to play for the Isle of Man rugby team.He has played "heavy" roles in several films such as "
Shooting Fish ", as well as an unlicensed boxer, Gorgeous George, in theGuy Ritchie crime caper "Snatch". He also had a walk-on part as a thug in the ITV soapCoronation Street .Since December 2007, he has run a Fish and Chip shop in
