Probush.com

Probush.com

ProBush.com was created by two brothers from the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. Amidst heightened tension in the years following September 11th, Michael and Benjamin Marino felt compelled to create a webpage which offered unconditional support of the 43rd US President, George W. Bush.

ProBush.com listed many celebrities and public personalities as "Traitors" on its infamous Traitor List. This led to a lawsuit in 2003 which lasted several years, and included Former US Senator, James Abourezk, Roxanne Dunbar Ortiz, and Jane Fonda. Todd Epp of South Dakota was said to be the driving force behind the hotbed issue of free speech that had been created.

Other's included on the list were Susan Sarandon, Nancy Pelosi, KOMPRESSOR, Madonna, and Ray Wirth.

The lawsuit lasted several years and ultimately ended in an undisclosed settlement.

ProBush.com and the Traitor List are still functional.

In the year following the lawsuit, conspiracy theorists at the "Daily Kos" alleged that both Michael and Benjamin Marino were tied to organized crime in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Another theory suggests they rubbed elbows with local GOP leaders in an effort to advance Bush's agenda. It is still unclear as to whether or not the two Brothers were ever involved with Bush or the GOP. Alleged loose ties to the Valerie Plame scandal as well as Enron have kept the whole saga shrouded in mystery. Sources also allege the two young men are active Freemasons.
