*KNM Harald Haarfagre at Madla, Royal Norwegian Navy Basic Training Establishment.
*Olavsvern auxiliary base.
*Karljohansvern former main base, minor units still present.

Coastal artillery was part of the Navy organisation from 1934 until it was disbanded in 2002.

* Grøtsund Fort Disbanded, but still maintained for possible future use.
* Herdla Fort (1940-2001) Disbanded, but still maintained for possible future use.
* Korsnes Fort Disbanded, but still maintained for possible future use.
* Krossodden Fort
* Kråkvåg Fort Disbanded, but still maintained for possible future use.
* Kvalvik Fort
* Malangen Fort Disbanded, but still maintained for possible future use.

* Nes Fort (?-2001) Disbanded, but still maintained for possible future use.
* Nesje Fort (1940-2004), in the Sognefjord, the fort was handed over to the Norwegian Home Guard in 1958 and was operated by that organisation until 2004.
