Taiwan ese-Americanactor and producer. Born and raised inManhattan, Kansas , he worked in the field of international politics before entering the Hollywood scene. Tiao was a cello performance major at theUniversity of Michigan before transferring toTufts University , where he received his B.A. in International Relations "magna cum laude" and a M.A. in International Affairs fromColumbia University .
