Bill Yellowtail (b.
January 8 ,1948 ) is an Americanpolitician fromWyola, Montana . He is a1971 graduate ofDartmouth College where he earned aBachelor of Arts Degree inGeography andEnvironmental Studies . Yellowtail served on theMontana Senate from1985 to1993 representing Big Horn, Rosebud and Powder River Counties and was a Regional Administrator for theUnited States Environmental Protection Agency . In1996 , he ran an unsuccessful campaign against RepublicanRick Hill for Montana's lone seat in theU.S. House of Representatives as a Democrat.
