USS St. Louis

USS "St. Louis" has been the name of six ships in the United States Navy. All were named for the city in Missouri.
*USS|St. Louis|1828 was a sloop-of-war commissioned in 1828.
*USS|St. Louis|1861 was a gunboat later renamed "Baron de Kalb" during the American Civil War.
*USS|St. Louis|1894 was a transatlantic passenger liner, charter for Naval service during the Spanish-American War. Later renamed "Louisville" (SP-1644).
*USS|St. Louis|C-20 was a protected cruiser that served during World War I.
*USS|St. Louis|CL-49 was a light cruiser that served during World War II.
*USS|St. Louis|LKA-116 was a cargo ship decommissioned in 1992.
