Hayley Chapman was born in
Perth, Western Australia and is an on-air TV presenter.She launched her television career when she was seven years old, featuring in a handful of television commercials. It wasn’t until a decade later that she was lured back to the bright lights. Originally from Perth,
Western Australia , Hayley relocated to Sydney on the east coast of Australia to pursue an on-air career.She completed a Communications degree majoring in Journalism at the
University of Technology, Sydney before setting out on her quest. She worked in many production roles with stints atSBS "World Sports", Delco Productions’ music show "Ground Zero", "C7 Sport ", The Seven Network’s "The Great Outdoors " and "The Big Arvo " before landing her dream gig on Network Ten’s environmental/wildlife children’s program "Totally Wild " as a presenter and producer. For almost four years "Totally Wild" (TW) took Chapman all around Australia reporting on everything and anything. She’s skydived, surfed withKelly Slater , abseiled, ridden horses, made crafts, patted tigers, adventure caved, interviewed scientists, academics, athletes, environmentalists, musicians and she’s visited schools and even rubbish tips to talk rubbish.Chapman is a passionate Ambassador for WWF Australia (Formerly
World Wide Fund For Nature ) having joined the organization in 2003. Highlighting important environmental issues and wildlife concerns as well as supporting events and causes are things she is enthusiastic about.When not filming on the road, she researched and wrote stories not only for herself but for other TW reporters. She also field produced other Network programs such as "Totally Footy" and "The Total News" (TTN).

Chapman has been actively involved with environmental projects over the past few years. Along with many environmental and community groups, leaders and water specialists she assisted in the coordination of the swift and effective ‘Say No to Desalination’ campaign in Sydney 2006.
She has also worked on a handful of television pilots in Australia and Los Angeles where she has been residing since 2006.
