American
stand-up comedian and sitcomwriter . He lives inLos Angeles .Ifft graduated with honors from
Fox Chapel Area High School in 1992. After graduation from the University of Pittsburgh, he moved toNew York City and started doing stand-up comedy on the club circuit. He performed on many stand-up comedy specials including NBC's "Late Friday Night",Comedy Central 's "Premium Blend ", BET's "Comic View" ABC's "Comic's Unleashed" and NBC's "Last Comic Standing ". He also appeared in many national commercials, including KFC and Arby's.Francisco's Alice 97.3 Morning Show with Sarah and Vinnie.Later, Ifft moved to Los Angeles where he still resides, developing sitcoms with networks. He starred in a pilot for Comedy Central and created a show for the FX Network.
One of a few American comedians to tour globally, Ifft has toured the
UK andAustralia extensively. In Australia he has been featured on Rove Live, theGlass House , theFooty Show ,Stand Up Australia ,Wil & Lehmo ,The Sideshow ,Thank God You're Here andGood News Week . In June 2007 he taped his first live DVD at the Sydney Opera House to a sold-out crowd. He has recorded two live stand-up comedy CD's, "I Learned the Hard Way" in 2004 and "Jokes That Make My Friends Laugh" in 2006.In 1995 Ifft started filming a documentary about America's perception around the world, entitled America the Punchline. The film is set to be released in 2008.
