National Non Food Crops Centre

National Non Food Crops Centre

The National Non Food Crops Centre (NNFCC) was established in 2003 as a result of a UK Government commitment to extend the competitive non-food uses of crops.

The Centre is sponsored by Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, the Department of Trade and Industry and a range of industrial sponsors.

The aims of the NNFCC are:

*To provide an independent and authoritative source of information on the use and implementation of non-food crop products and technologies in the UK
*To make this information available to all relevant audiences: industry, agriculture, academia, government, and the general public.
*To build and strengthen supply chains for the application of non-food crop technologies, through the provision of technology transfer services.
