Steve Diggle (b. Moss Side, Manchester, 1955) is a guitarist and secondary lead vocalist in the British punk band Buzzcocks. He joined the band in 1976, playing bass on their "Spiral Scratch" "EP", and switched to guitar after the departure of founding member Howard Devoto.

Steve Diggle wrote several songs for the Buzzcocks, including "Autonomy", "Fast Cars" (co-written with Howard Devoto and Pete Shelley), "Love Is Lies" (perhaps the first Buzzcocks song featuring an acoustic guitar), "Sitting Round At Home", "You Know You Can't Help It", "Mad Mad Judy", and, perhaps his most famous song, "Harmony in My Head", a Top 40 hit in 1979.

In 1991 Steve had a son named Jack with girlfriend Judith (for whom he wrote the song "Mad Mad Judy").
