The Yorkshire Air Ambulance is a charity based in
Yorkshire ,England . Launched in2000 , it provides anair ambulance service across theYorkshire and the Humber region. Its original aircraft is based atLeeds Bradford Airport and has landing pads at various major hospitals around the region includingLeeds General Infirmary andJames Cook University Hospital inMiddlesbrough . In October 2007 a second helicopter based atSheffield City Airport entered service. [cite web
