Loren Dean was born in
Las Vegas, Nevada to a mother who worked as a family and marriage counselor and a father involved in the clothing business. Film career
Dean's first film was 1988's "Plain Clothes." But his big break came a year later, when he was cast as a bad ex-boyfriend in "
Say Anything... ." His third film, "Billy Bathgate ," came in 1991. Although the film did not do well at the box office, Dean won very positive reviews for his performance in the film.
