Production Notes
This low budget exploitation film has become something of a
cult film classic. Effective use is made of erstwhileHammer Horror setOakley Court . Eroticism and graphic violence are interspersed with poetic dream-like sequences, as when Fran and Miriam, after showering away the blood from their latest victim, flee to a nearby cemetery ( Denham churchyard) at break of dawn.Though initially heavily censored in the UK it is now available uncut on DVD with a (frequently hilarious) commentary from the director Larraz and the producer
Brian Smedley-Aston .Anulka was
Playboy 's Miss May 1973 whilst Marianne Morris appeared naked in the October 1976 edition of British Men's Magazine Mayfair.A novelisation was published in 2001 by Tim Greaves, a fan of the film.
