However, he will receive £500k back from the club as part of the deal, at the same time as potentially profiting from the sale of Bootham Crescent as and when it occurs. This means that the regular claims he is making a £1m investment is possibly wrong. It is only approximately £500k in the long term.His sister Sophie is on the Board of York City as Communications Director.
He is also Managing Director of J M Packaging Ltd based in Malton.
