Robert Thompson is a Las Vegas poker official. He served as the tournament director on "Celebrity Poker Showdown". [ [http://casinogambling.about.com/od/poker/a/celebpoker.htm About.com: Behind the Scenes at the Celebrity Poker Showdown] by Bill Burton] Phil Gordon said on one broadcast that Thompson is one of the best tournament directors in Las Vegas. His distinctive way of saying "shuffle up and deal" has become something of a catchphrase for fans of the show.
