European Parliamentary Elections Act 2002

The European Parliamentary Elections Act 2002 is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom (2002 Chapter 24). The long title is "An Act to consolidate the European Parliamentary Elections Acts 1978, 1993 and 1999".

The Act divided the United Kingdom into various regions to which were allocated a number of seats. England was divided into nine regions with a total of 71 seats, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland were divided into a single region each, with 8, 5 and 3 seats respectively.
