- Kramer Complex
The Kramer Complex is a grouping of
Kansas State University residence halls on the west side of the university's Manhattan campus. The complex features two residence halls, Goodnow andMarlatt Hall , as well as the Kramer Dining Center. The Kramer Dining Center was named in 1965 for the former Assistant Dean of Home Economics Martha M. Kramer, who held the position between 1945 and 1960. A convenience store, QuikCats, is located on the first floor of the Kramer Dining Center near the west entrance. Also contained within Kramer Dining Hall is the Academic Resource Center in Kramer (or the ARCK) which provides group tutoring for many beginner level course, classrooms, study rooms, and computer labs which are available to check-out. The complex contains three GM (Goodnow-Marlatt) student parking lots adjacent to the residence halls and dining center and numerous hourly parking meters for visitors.Currently the Kramer Complex's Residences Halls are overseen by Kipp Van Dyke, former RLC (Residences Life Coordinator) of Goodnow hall. He will supervise and advise the two halls with help from two graduate students: Ann Dinsdale, ARLC (Assistant Resident Life Coordinator) for Goodnow, and Joey Ward, ACDI (Assistant Director of Departmental Initiatives).
