Shomrei HaChomos

The Shomrei HaChomos Synagogue was built in the 1890s in the Muslim Quarter of the old city of Jerusalem. After the riots of 1920 it relocated to the Batei Ungarin neighbourhood in the new city. The building was destroyed during the 1948 Israel War of Independence.
