Aligrama

Aligrama is one of the historical towns of Swat District in the North-West Frontier Province of Pakistan.

Location

Aligrama is situated high up in mountains a couple of miles away from Kanju and Saidu Sharif, many remains of the ancient town can still be seen.

A site of Gandhara grave culture was discovered here by Italian archaeologists and has been dated to c. 1000 BCE.
