MIIS is an adult amateur soccer club in the Monterey Peninsula Soccer League. Most team members are either students, faculty, or staff at the Monterey Institute of International Studies. Due to the nature of the MIIS school system, most players are with the team for only two to four seasons, as they complete their studies within two years.

Because the MIIS is an international school, the MIIS Soccer Team boasts a large number of foreign-born players in its roster.
