The Down Senior Hurling Club Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association club competition between the top Down Clubs. The winners of the Down Championship winners qualify to represent their county in the Ulster Senior Club Hurling Championship and in turn, go on to the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship. Only four clubs compete in the championship; Ballygalget, Ballycran, Portaferry and Bredagh.

History

Faugh-a-Ballagh won the inaugural Down hurling championship in 1903.
