"Area 38" is a Trance / Progressive House radio station, one of ten Dance/Electronic music satellite channels operated by Sirius XM Radio, which in turn operates as part of SIRIUS Satellite Radio's five Dance formatted offerings, broadcasting on Sirius Satellite Radio channel 38 and Dish Network channel 6038. It used to be on channel 33 on Sirius, and was called Area 33. (Prior to that it was called Area 63 and was on channel 63) Area 38 features some of the world's most renowned DJs such as Tiësto, Erik Morillo, Paul Van Dyk, Armand Van Helden, Roger Sanchez, Ferry Corsten, Serge Devant, Deep Dish, Sasha and John Digweed. On June 24, 2008, Area 33 was moved to channel 38 to make room for the move of SIRIUS Disorder, which is now on channel 33.
