Alexander Stead

Alexander Stead

Alexander Stead (born April 18, 1980) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler who played for Durham UCCE and Yorkshire's Second XI during a four-year cricketing career.

Between 1999 and 2002, he played extensively in the Second XI Championship, having received his debut against Warwickshire's Second XI the previous year, in which he scored a commanding 88 not out. Stead played in two consecutive British Universities Championship finals for Durham University, losing both times.
