Most recently, following a short spell at Ryman League Premier Division side
AFC Wimbledon , Battersby joined Chelmsford City and is now on loan to Welling United until the end of the 2006-07 season.In the summer of 1995 Battersby joined Finnish second division club
BK-IFK (nowVasa IFK ) on loan, scoring 24 goals in just 18 appearances for the Vasa club.
