There are a number of systems of communications in Yemen.
The telephone system in
Yemen includes 188,000 main lines in use (as of 1998), and 2,300,000 mobile telephones in use (since 2007). Three mobile network providers are present at the moment in the mobile phone market:- Sabafon,
- MTN Yemen (Spacetel Yemen until 2006),
