Richard Leese

Sir Richard Charles Leese CBE is a Labour Party politician in the City of Manchester [http://www.manchesteronline.co.uk/ewm/mp/rleese.html] . He is a councillor in the Crumpsall ward, and the leader of the Council. He was awarded a Knighthood for services to local government in the Birthday Honours 2006. Sir Richard is one of the main advocates of congestion charging in Greater Manchester. He was educated at the Brunts School Mansfield []
