The course is 1,476 yards (1,350 m) in length (although when it was first constructed in 1968 it was around 33yd / 30 m longer) and meetings are staged by the Lothian Car Club.
The current outright record holder is Scott Moran, who set a time of 35.62 seconds on 21 June 2009.
