In historical records the
village was first mentioned in1335 when it belonged toTrstené pri Hornáde 's Lords (Drugeth and Cudar families). After it began aKošice 's town dominion and successively it belonged to Palasthy family. In1337 it passed toKrásna nad Hornádom ’s abbey. According to legends, it seems that the village was funded by Polish settlers.Geography
