It teams up with Sony (Columbia Pictures and TriStar Pictures) and Paramount Pictures for most of their films. The founder and CEO is Peter Guber.[1] From 1997 until 2002, Lionsgate Entertainment owned a stake in Mandalay Pictures.[2] In 2009 Mandalay Pictures purchased the rights to do a live action adaptation of the anime Full Metal Panic.[3]
