About the Album

Noori's second album, "Peeli Patti Aur Raja Jani Ki Gol Dunya" (PPRJKGD), starts off in a somewhat hopeful mood and then travels through bitter experiences and ends up with resigned despair, peppered with taunts. PPRJKGD deals with a variety of subjects ranging from the pros and cons of drug use to the collective apathy we all have descended into as individuals and as a society.

With Peeli Patti Aur Raja Jani Ki Gol Dunya, Noori have been able to prove a number of things: that they are not a one album wonder, and that a good rock album can be made in Pakistan with a great live drum sound.

Their Track, Kuttay received widespread criticism, and their Video was also banned from the local Television Channels. So a second Video was made for this Track. However, this track has given a new concept, by mixing Rock Music with Punjabi Vocals.
