"Apply Some Pressure" was the second single released by Maxïmo Park. It reached number 20 in the UK charts in February 2005. The song has been re-worked by Mark Ronson for his album "Version". Paul Smith recorded the vocals for him after Ronson had made the instrumental but could not find a singer on par with Smith.
