Russian Nationalist Movement of Estonia

Russian Nationalist Movement of Estonia

The Russian Nationalist Movement of Estonia (RNDE) is a political movement in Estonia. It was founded in Lasnamäe in 1990, in order to fill the place of the Russian Movement of Estonia (RDE), which was banned by the National Constitutional Court in 1989. The Russian Nationalist Movement of Estonia is an Anti-Estonian political movement in Estonia without parliamentary representation. It was founded by members of the Nationalist Workers Union of Estonia (NRSE). The movement remained relatively small. Many members of the RNDE left the movement after the re-independation of Estonia and joined the newly formed Movement of National Socialism (EIP), a descendant of the Eastern Estonian Socialist Unity Movement of Estonia (SEE). The RNDE has traditionally defined itself as Nationalist in orientation, originating from the heritage of Nationalism in the 1990s neo-nazi movements. It has long been the largest far-right grouping in Estonia. It participates in the Conference of Russian Nationalist Parties and Organizations (KRNPO). The RNDE is generally positioning itself in campaigns as a radical alternative to the Right Movement. The movement chairman was Jevgeni Kogan. He resinged in April 2006. The current chairman is Juri Mišin, the former chairman of the national association of the RNDE in Lasnamäe.
