Chris King is a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representativesm representing the 142nd District since 2007. His district is located in Bucks County.

King grew up in Middletown Township, Bucks County, and still lives in the Langhorne section of the township. King graduated from Neshaminy High School and Millersville University, where he earned a degree in political science and economics. He also earned Post-Baccalaureate Teaching Certification from Millersville.

In 2002, King entered the race for state representative only three months before the general election, as a late replacement for the Democratic candidate who withdrew. Against incumbent Matt Wright, King took 41% of the vote in the loss. After the 2002 election, King was appointed by Governor Ed Rendell to serve as a member of Rendell's Education Transition Team. He also worked as a budget and policy analyst for the Pennsylvania state government.

In 2006, King made a second run at the state house. In the primary election, he defeated Democrat Larry Lefkowitz with more than two-thirds of the total vote.
