Knight Street is a four-to-six lane roadway in
Vancouver and Richmond. It is a designatedtruck route for access to thePort of Vancouver .From Westminster Highway in Richmond to Marine Drive in Vancouver, it is a 4-lane freeway. As such, Knight Street serves as an alternate way to exit Vancouver southbound, rather than the

Mitchell Island and Richmond over theFraser River , the freeway section of Knight Street crosses theKnight Street Bridge . This is the only officially designated freeway in Greater Vancouver that is not also designated as a provincial highway. The street has become a favourite for street racers in the Vancouver area probably because of its long straight bridge, though the police presence has recently improved to thwart this activity.Fact|date=April 2007
