Navya Shastra

Navya Shastra is a reformist Hindu organization founded in the United States in 2002. The organization advocates against caste discrimination and other caste-based inequalities. Of late, Navya Shastra has extended its focus to include humanitarian work. It was active in relief work among Indian communities affected by the 2004 tsunami, which decimated many coastal regions in Asia.
